Applications
Cleaning tool for ferrule end faces of fiber optic connectors. A cleaning directly through an adapter is possible, deinstallation of the connector is not necessary. It is also possible to clean open patch cable ferrules with the attached adapter, which also serves as protection against contamination of the cleaning tape. The cleaning process is triggered by pressing the handpiece.
Properties
The tip can be pulled out in order to be able to clean even deep-seated connectors or tightly packed patch panels. Three different versions allow the cleaning of ferrules with diameters of 1.25 or 2.5 mm.
